Wilsons Pet Food traces its history to 1861, when John Wilson became a feed and grain merchant in Scotland before opening his own mill; the firm later moved into muesli-based dog food from its Dundee mill. Rescued and revamped by a family-run company, Wilsons now produces cold-pressed dog food in Scotland alongside raw frozen food, treats and supplements. It is one of the oldest names in British pet food.
