Forthglade
Forthglade was founded in 1971 in Devon by Basil Palmer and Doug Wilkins as pioneers of natural wet dog food, and still makes its food at its Okehampton factory on the edge of Dartmoor. Its natural wet trays and cold-pressed dry food score highly on independent nutrition ratings without a super-premium price. Piper Private Equity sold the business to IK Partners in August 2020.
